Due to the recent decision by the Hoover Board of Education to delay the start of school, we feel as a band staff it is important to adjust our calendar accordingly. We will be delaying the start of our band camps and continuing to have weekly sectionals for brass and woodwinds. The percussion camp will happen as scheduled next week. In addition to the changes in dates we have also made adjustments to some of the time blocks. Here is a breakdown of the new dates and times:
- July 20-24 – Percussion Camp 8am-12pm
- July 21 – Music Rehearsal (Brass only) 6-8pm
- July 23 – Music Rehearsal (Woodwind only) 6-8pm
- July 28 – Music Rehearsal (Brass only) 6-8pm
- July 30 – Music Rehearsal (Woodwind only) 6-8pm
- August 5-7 – Football Band Camp for all members
- Wednesday: 8am-12pm
- Thursday & Friday: 8am-12pm and 6-9pm
- August 10-14 – Competition Band Camp
- Wednesday: 8am-12pm
- All other days: 8am-12pm and 6-9pm
- August 17-18 – Football Band Camp for all members 6-9pm
- August 20 – First Day Of School
