Here is a copy of the band summer calendar to help everyone in preparation for the months ahead. It is almost the same as the copy that we gave out in February with a couple of small adjustments.
The information we have received from the state board of education encourages us to move forward with our band camp plans. We are currently working with our administration to determine how we will implement mandated precautions and insure student safety. More will be provided on this in the near future. It goes without saying that all of this is tentative and contingent upon the current information and guidance that has been provided to us. We will update you with more specifics shortly. I miss all of you and hope everyone is doing well.
Items to note on the calendar:
- Additional Tuesday music rehearsal on June 30
- Rookie Camp for all freshmen and leadership on July 13-14 (This will help us overcome the loss of our freshman marching clinic)
- Competition Band Camp dates now have the evening block starting at 5 rather than 6.
